Dylan is Off and Runnin'

It's hard to believe that less than a week ago Dylan took his first steps, and now he is walking everywhere. We went to the grocery store and he walked behind the cart and helped me push it. It took a little longer to get the shopping done, but it was so cute.

All Caught Up

Well, I think I'm all caught up on our blog. If you want to see what we've been up to, you will have to click on the prior blogs to see them.....if anyone is still following this blog. It's been over a month, which is terrible. I knew I had to post them before the holidays or I would never get caught up. I don't want it to get like my scrapbooking is.....YEARS behind.

We went to Berkeley this weekend for Ryan's 32 birthday to watch the OSU/Cal game. We had so much fun. I forgot our camera though, so you can click on the link below to go to my sister's blog to see pictures. Happy Birthday Ryan!

And Dylan finally took his first official steps today, November 9, 2009. He walked back and forth between Addison, Sophia, Victoria and myself. Daddy was at work, so he came home at dinner time to see the big steps, and he walked right to Daddy. It was very cute. I tried to upload the video from my phone, but it didn't work. I'll try again later, when it's not 11:44 pm.
Good night.

Halloween 2009

Six little trick or treaters. Owen the skunk, Priness Belle a.k.a Payton, Alex Army Man (who blends into the couch really good), Sophia Devil girl, Addison Candy-passer-outer, And Dylan the Bat.

The boys are ready. They don't even know all the fun that's ahead of them.

I think this is Sophia's favorite holiday. She loves her sugar.

She didn't want to pose for the picture because she was busy getting sugar, I mean candy.

Dylan figuring out that this isn't so bad. He wanted a sucker before I could unwrap it.

The boys both loved their suckers. Now whenever Dylan sees a sucker, he wants it.

The trick or treaters collecting their candy.

I took Dylan to work the Monday before Halloween. The ladies at the office loved his bat wings.

It was a fun night with the Smiths. We are still working on the candy pile. I need to take it into work just to get rid of it.

Oregon Trip for Dad

We went to Oregon to be with out parents for my Dad's 3rd brain surgery on his tumor. He has taken a little longer to heal this time, but he always is so positive. He is currently going through the steps to start his radiation treatment in Salem.

They marked his head to know where to operate.

All the grandkids came, except Alex. He stayed back with Ryan so he didn't miss school.

Dad and his three kids after surgery. I think he looks pretty good for just having brain surgery the day before.

Dylan giving him kisses and love. We love you Grandpa!

Our family in front of my parents house.

We visited with our friends too. All our kids, which are growing up too fast. From Left: Sophia, Kyla, Kenzie, Addison, Dylan, Jeffery, Harrison, and Carter

We went to Harrison's soccer game. We wanted to come to Carter's too, but Dylan was having his nap.

Owen's 1st Birthday and Picking Pumpkins

Here are the pictures from Owen's 1st Birthday at Bishop's Pumpkin Farm. And then we went back a couple weekends later and picked out our pumpkins.

I love the pumkin patch pictures. They are always so pretty with all the pumpkins around.

Dylan getting a ride out the the patch.

We took a hay ride out to the field and back, and then walked out to where we wanted to pick our pumpkins. The hay ride was bumpy, but fun.

The girls search for their perfect pumpkins.

Daddy and Dylan look for D's.

Sophia found her big pumpkin. She needed help carrying it to the wagon.

Dylan and Daddy found D's little pumpkin he is sitting next to.

And Addison found hers.

We like to measure the kids every year. Here's Grandpa Jim and Addy being silly.

Addison is 5'9"

Sophia is 4'11"

And Dylan is 2'6"
