Where Did March Go?

This month went by so fast for us. Here are some of the moments past.

March 16th, Dylan has carrots. He wasn't sure he liked them at first. but now he does. He also likes green beans and squash.

Sophia's turn to feed him.

Now Addison. They are both such good helpers.

March 19th, First bath in the big tub with Sophia. Dylan has always had his bath in the kitchen sink until today. He had a great time splashing Sophia.

Chris had to go to Sacramento to find a highchair in stock, and Mr. D loves it. He will actually sit in it while we have dinner, which is really nice.

His toys keep him busy.
March 20th, My mom came to visit until the 25th. It was wonderful to have her here. We love when she comes.

March 24th, Addison got braces! What a big day. Here is the before picture.

And the after pictures. She will have them on for the next 2 - 3 years. Dr. Almond seems like a very good Orthodontist. He is great about explaining everything.

Oh what a cute brace face.

Also on March 24th, we went to Round Table Pizza for a fundraiser for Addison's school end-of-year trip. This is Kailey and Sophia with painted faces.

March 28th, We went to the home and garden show at the fairgrounds. Here's Sophia and Dylan taking in some rays. Addison was at a wrestling tournament, doing the stats and score keeping for her school.

March 30th, Victoria and Addison hangin out after school at our house.

And Sophia and Dylan hangin out. Dylan likes to take his socks off now after he sucks on them and they are all wet.

A couple of cuties. Dylan went to the Doctor March 30th, for his 6 month check up (He is 6 1/2 months old) He is 18 lbs 8 ozs and 28 inches long.

Happy Birthday Bob, Pam and 1/2 B-Day Dylan

Dylan is 6 months today! I can't believe it. The time is flying by so fast. His smile is one of my many favorite things about him. His upper lip disappears.

Dylan and Sophia

Also, it was Bob and Pam's (Chris' parents) Birthdays on March 10th. They have the same birthday only 3 years apart. I'm glad they were at our house to celebrate. Happy Birthday!

Birthday Dinner at our house. They had lunch with Pam's brother, Richard and Sharolyn at Dancing Tomato. Dylan wanted to have some of Bob's soup, but all he got was the spoon.
Edible Arrangements - SO Yummy.

Bucks Lake is Beautiful!

We were invited to go to Bucks Lake last weekend with Dennis' family. Dennis is Chris' partner in crime at work. His Aunt, Nancy and Uncle, Terry have a cabin there. We drove up on Friday night with Dennis, his wife Shelley, and their two kids, Greg and Kirsten. We got there about 9:00pm. We had to ride in 6 miles on snowmobiles with sleds behind a couple of them, with our stuff in rubbermaid totes. It was quite the adventure. We had so much fun. We played in A LOT of snow, sled on disks, and rode snowmobiles.

Here's Bucks Lake. It was such a wonderful, sunny day. Addison is looking out at this beautiful scene.
Chris, Addison, Dylan and I rode on this trip with Nancy and Dennis. Sophia stayed back at the cabin and played with Greg and Kirsten. It looks like a postcard with the snow around the lake. I think this picture was taken moments before or after the car keys were lost in the snow, but we just didn't know it yet. It's up by the dam.

This is Nancy and Terry holding little man D. They were great hosts and made us feel so welcome. Thank you for having us.

This is outside the window of their cabin. Addison and Greg played on the roof above. Dennis dug out a snow staircase for the kids to get up there.

Inside the cabin the walls and ceiling were all wood. It is so pretty.

Where's Addison? If you look real close you can see her on the roof of the cabin getting ready to slide down. She's wearing black, so she blends in well.

Here's Dennis and Shelley. Thanks so much for inviting us! We had a great time with your family.

On Saturday we went sledding. Here's Addison, Greg and Sophia. The snow was untouched until we rode in and played.

The girls making the hike back up the hill.

Addison following Brutis down the hill.

Sophia going down with her feet out.

The three girls hanging out. Kirsten, Addy and Soph.

Dylan and I watching the action.

Kirsten throwing snowballs to Brutis.

The kids take a snack break.

The day was so sunny, we had to take some layers off. Dylan and Daddy soaking in some rays.

Shelley's first trip down the hill was one of the most entertaining ones to watch. She tumbled her way down.

This is Terry. He knows how to ride! He did this once before, and then I asked him to do it again so I could get this video. I didn't have to twist his arm.

Dennis taking his turn down the hill. He looks like a pro.

Sophia and Greg head back to get their snow gear on and head back to the cabin for dinner.

Fun, fun and more fun.

Addison is ready to ride.

Chris too.

Brutis, Nancy and Sophia load up.

The kids on the porch of the cabin. Sophia, Greg, Kirsten, Addison, and Dylan with a bare foot sticking out.

Thanks again Dennis, Shelley, Nancy and Terry for a fun-filled weekend.

Luckily, when we got back to the car, someone (J Dub, according to the note) found the keys when they were on a walk by the dam. We are very thankful for his honesty and help in returning them. He left his phone number, so I called and thanked him. Dylan is still not much of a traveler. He cried for a lot of the drive even though I tried every way I know how to keep him entertained. Now, if we could just figure out how to get everywhere on a snowmobile, we would be set. He slept everytime he rode.

Family Fun

Heather, Addison, Victoria, Emily and Sophia hangin out.

7th grade cuties

Payton looking so pretty. She had so much fun with this make up. Sophia was very nice to share it with her.
Payton making Addison beautiful with make up

Sophia with sparkle eyes, Pay with pink lips, and Miko (our neighbor) with rosy pink cheeks

Payton and Mr. D

Owen in Dylan's swing. It has a mirror up above and he loves to look at himself and smile at his handsome-ness

Dylan loves his Bumbo seat. His foot is a really great toy.

These two will be trouble when they are about two.

Come here Cousin

One of Dylan's favorite things to do is throw all his toys off the tray.....

And then look at them on the floor and wonder how they got there.

Dylan in his Vans. I have wanted to buy these since I was pregnant with Dylan. I finally gave in and got them.

Addison (and Sophia) are great big sisters. Addy can even get Dylan to go to sleep now, which is not an easy thing. They are both so sweet to him.
