Christmas Day 2008

Christmas Morning was great. My parents and brother were there for the 5:30am gift openings. The girls woke up at 4:45am, and we made them wait until 5:30am to start opening gifts. After gift opening my sister and her family came over and we had dinner and all ate way too much. We are still working on the leftovers.

Santa and his helper had a very busy night.

Addison and Sophia are reading what Santa wrote them back about the yummy sugar cookies

Sophia is just kinda excited about her Nintendo DS from Santa

Addison loves her camera from Santa

Addison is holding up her shirt from Aunt Crystal.

Sophia loves these Matchbox cars Chris got her.

My mom gave the grandkids the quarter collectors mats. She collected all the 50 states' quarters from 1999 to 2008 until she had them all for each grandchild. Pretty neat gift.

Here's Sophia and Grandma Kathy with her quarters.

Christmas Eve 2008

We went to Chris' Grandma's house for Christmas Eve in Hayward. We had a great time. We enjoyed eating Grandma's homemade chili. It was the longest car ride Dylan had been on. He likes to be entertained the whole time. We watched the movie Elf (one of my favorites) on the way home. It got us all in the Christmas spirit.
Merry Christmas!

Sugar Rush

We went to the Jelly Belly Factory in Fairfield today. We took my brother, Kevin with us. The kids had a great time and we even got to see Santa at the end.

Mr. Jelly Belly is ready for Christmas with his Santa hat on

This picture is made out of Jelly Bellys. They had a bunch of pictures made out of Jelly Bellys, but they were all on the tour. You can't take pictures on the tour, so I had to take one of Arnold.

We had to wear these silly hats on the tour because it's California law
Two very fashionable girls
Dylan loves his hat, but it's just a little big for him

This is a great looking Santa

Jesus, our Savior

Tonight we went to Crossroads Community Church. They had a Drive-Thru of Jesus' birth, life on Earth, and ended with his resurrection. They had live people/actors and animals. Addison didn't go with us tonight because she was at the Kings basketball game with her friend Emily.

Sophia watched Cars while we waited our turn to drive-thru the scenes.

Dylan thought all the lights were really neat.

The actors did a great job in the cold weather. It was about 50 degrees.
Dylan looks at all the scenes.....

At the end we saw Santa and he gave out candy canes, which Sophia thought was great.

Sophia has bunny ears up behind Mr. D. He looks surprised that she would do such a thing.

Christmas Tree

We got our tree from Ryan and his work. We were able to put a lot of ornaments on it and you can see them all really well. I'm almost done with my Christmas shopping. 12 Days til Christmas!
The three wise children. They are all growing up so fast.
The kids did a great job decorating the tree.

Thanksgiving

We had Thanksgiving at our house with Chris' side of the family. We had a house full, which is great. The girls went to Oregon to celebrate with the Alley's.

Our Growing Baby Boy

Dylan had his 2 month check up on November 12, 2008. He is 13 lbs 5 ozs and 24 inches long. He is such a cutie. He "talks" to us now. It's very adorable.
