Kelly's 31st Birthday

I had a wonderful birthday yesterday. Crystal and Pay brought Chris and I cupcakes that were delicious. The necklace I'm wearing Sophia made me.

Chris and I got to go out to eat at the City Cafe. The food was SO good. Then we came home and got to open all these wonderful gifts. I got spoiled!

Chris' 31st Birthday

Chris had his 31st birthday on January 26th. Just the two of us went out to eat and then went to the movies. We ate at Marcellos and saw Benjamin Button. Pam, Chris' mom, watched the kids for us. Thank you Pam!

This is a sun, moon and mirror all in one from Chris' grandma. He hung it on the fence in the backyard.

Here is the lemon cake I made for him. I have never had lemon cake. It was pretty yummy.

Dylan's 4 month check up

Dylan had his 4 month check up on January 26, 2009. He is actually 4 1/2 months old. We had to reschedule his original appointment because he had a virus with a fever and all. He is 16 lbs 12 ozs. and 26 1/2 inches long. He is in the 95% for weight and height. He is really close to rolling over, but hasn't done it yet. I just can't believe how fast he is growing.

Sophia's 8th B-day

Sophia had her 8th birthday party on Friday - Saturday. It was her first slumber/birthday party. I told her she could have 3 girls come because I thought that's all I could handle. I found out that it only takes one crazy child to make it all I could handle.....but I won't go into that. Addison spent the night at Victoria's house, which was very smart of her. I think Sophia had a good time though, which is all that matters.

We started out the night with homemade pizza, which Sophia loves because I make her pieces with no sauce. She picked a Hannah Montana theme.

After pizza she opened her gifts. From left to right is: Miko (our neighbor), Kailey, Sophia, and Sara.

Then Sophia wanted to have chocolate cupcakes, and they decorated their own with different colors of frosting and toppings.

After cupcakes they were on a sugar high, so it was time for a dance party.

They wore themselves out and decided to watch Sleepover, the movie, and eat popcorn. After the movie, they moved up to Sophia's room to "sleep". I finally went into the room at 2:00 a.m., to tell the girls that were still awake, it was time to go to sleep.

In the morning they had eggs and waffles. They woke up at 7:30a.m. I thought they would have slept in after a crazy night.
Sophia is holding her tooth. She lost her first molar when she was chewing her waffles. So now the Tooth Fairy gets to come.

And Mr. D survived all the chaos somehow. Thank goodness we are done partying for at least another year.

Photo Update

The kids and I went to lunch at Chili's and saw Mall Cop at the new movie theater today. It was a silly movie and the girls liked it. We have been taking it easy lately, and trying to get healthy. Dylan had his first fever last week and Chris is still sick.

Dylan, you are too young for Snickers. He loves the noise the bag makes when he crinkles it.

His turtle PJs. He is starting to wear 6 month old sized clothes.

Two big sisters. They are such good helpers with their little brother. Addy changed a poopy diaper yesterday. She is very brave.

Smiles, smiles.....they are the best.

Daddy and Dylan.
